Job Description

Job Summary:

Advises students concerning an appropriate academic schedule, choice of major, number of hours that may be taken, probation, and/or suspension. Contact may be on an individual or group basis or be made by correspondence.

Essential Duties:
1. Assist all student with enrollment and financial aid services
2. Serve as primary point of contact for student issues related to enrollment and financial aid
3. Provide academic guidance for all students upon request, including pre-Admissions
4. Advise financial aid and academic probation/suspension students on structured course scheduling
5. Serve as academic advisor for all academic programs to serve any student who needs assistance
6. Assist students with forms completion and serve as forms repository for student services with dissemination to appropriate offices
7.Act as content manager for assigned websites

Secondary Duties:
1. Assist with assessment requirements
2. Collaborate with departments regarding enrollment and financial aid services/activities
3. Collaborate with departments/faculty regarding changes/updates made to published programs and plans, etc.
4. Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree

Experience with mentoring historically under-served students including first-generation, non-traditional, and low-income.
