Job Description

Job Summary:

This position reports to and provides senior-level administrative support to the President. Provides support for all executive functions and ensures compliance with all applicable procedures, policies and regulations. Serves as representative of the President at community events and works closely with on and off campus constituents. Plans and oversees special campus projects and organizes materials for board and committee reports as well as drafts and edits communication on behalf of the President. Will process and track invoices and billings. Will work independently to handle complex situations and will be responsible for handling confidential information in a professional manner. Will also be responsible for the campus switchboard. This position is non-exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions.

Required Qualifications:

Any combination of education, training and work experience that will enable the incumbent to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. High school equivalency is required. Normally, people who perform this work in organizations will have knowledge of a set of standardized practices, procedures, rules or operations that are extensive and require extended education such as bachelor’s degree plus two years related experience or two-year college plus four years related work experience.  In addition, the incumbent will have a demonstrated proficiency in office management.  

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in customer service, executing special projects, writing/composing documents/reports and official communications is strongly preferred.
