Duties and Responsibilities

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Duties include, but are not limited to management and development of all aspects of a collegiate women’s volleyball program: coaching, recruiting, scouting, scheduling, budget and scholarship management, supervision of assistant/student coaches, academic monitoring, development of team policies and procedures, development and implementation of off-season conditioning, knowledge of and adherence to college, conference, and NAIA rules and regulations, as well as marketing and fund-raising for the program.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree required. Previous coaching experience at the college and/or high school level; previous playing experience helpful. An ability to work in an environment where the education, welfare, and graduation of student-athletes receive primary emphasis. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate and develop a culture of excellence. Proven managerial and fiscal skills required. Sensitivity to diversity and equity issues also required. Must have valid driver’s license and follow all rules and regulations of the College, NAIA, and Heart of America Athletic Conference.

This position is subject to veterans preference. Offers of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory results of a background check.
