Job Description

Job Summary:

Assist in the development and implementation of a student recruitment strategy with specialization in a focus area. Involves recruiting students, recording student data, and travel. Play a key role in developing and executing new student recruitment with an emphasis on the Grand Island and central Nebraska.  Area. This position requires a high level of independence and strategic decision making. Build strong relationships with local schools and community-based organizations raising the awareness of Wayne State College. Engage students through presentations and events and guide prospective students and their families through the admissions process. Travel throughout the Central Nebraska region to represent the college, manage recruitment materials, and track student data to inform and refine outreach efforts.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or admissions work experience.

 

Other requirements: criminal background and DMV check; valid driver's license.

  2. Public speaking skills that include diverse populations.
  3. Spanish Speaking.
  4. Ability to prioritize and work independently to complete tasks.
  5. 3-5 years of professional work experience.
