Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides executive, administrative and analytical support to the Dean in a wide variety of areas such as: budgets, communications, personnel, research and office management. Coordinate activities on the Dean’s behalf and act as liaison to senior management across campus.

  1. Receives information from other departments and compiles data for the dean.
  2. Coordinates the admission and retention of MSOM students. This involves evaluating transcripts, determining prerequisites are met, and assessing transfer credit. Monitors current students in the program and provides support to enhance retention and graduation.
  3. Advise MSOM students about program planning, graduation requirements, and course selection. Assist in registering students.
  4. Assist Admissions with recruiting students into the RHOP and RLOP. Develops and implements programs to support students including field trips, internships, guest lectures, and prep workshops.
  5. Serve as the liaison with the UN Law for the RLOP.
  6. Assist the faculty and Dean in developing marketing plans to support the recruitment of RHOP and RLOP students.
  7. Compiles data and prepares reports to aid in evaluation of student progress and program effectiveness; may recommend changes or improvements.
  8. Communication with current and prospective students.
  9. Assists in the identification and assignment of qualified faculty for scheduled coursework.
  10. Oversees the development, collection and reporting of assessment data.
  11. Assists other staff members in the development and distribution of website publications and marketing materials.
  12. Supervises work study and straight time workers.
  13. Assists other staff members in the preparation of materials for MSOM faculty meetings. Presents materials to the faculty as needed in relation to the MSOM program.
  14. Schedules and organizes special functions and events including HOP and RLOP selection days.
  15. With directions from the dean, prepare documents related to faculty evaluation.
  16. Coordination and planning of SHC events and functions.
  17. Other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
• Three years of administrative support work experience
• Experience with budget management, accounting, and office management
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge and skill in the use of computers and software including Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
