Job Summary:
The primary function of this position is to provide administrative and research support under the direction of the Research Administrator for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This role exists to assist with the expanding research enterprise under the new Department Chair, supporting both clinical and basic science investigators. The position will help ensure efficient coordination of research operations, compliance, communication, and Nebraska Center for Women's Health Research activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Behavioral Science, Basic Science, or a related field.
- 4 years increasingly responsible administrative experience to include experience coordinating projects, preparing documents, and maintaining records.
- Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft PowerPoint,Microsoft Outlook
Will consider six years related post high school education/experience.
- Ability to type 60 wpm.
- Good organization and communication skills ability to handle stressful situations, multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with faculty, staff, students, and external collaborators.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
- Ability to learn and utilize institutional systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Cayuse, and ADIS.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting clinical and basic science research programs and working with faculty, investigators, and research staff .
- Experience providing office or program support in an academic, research, or healthcare setting.

- Knowledge of UNMC and external research system, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Knowledge of university and research administration policies.
