Assistant Coach Softball
Job Description

Job Summary:

Assist Head Softball Coach with all aspects of the program including but not limited to: team travel, recruitment of perspective student athletes, advising and monitoring eligibility and academic progress of student athletes, participation in fundraising activities, communicate and teach the fundamentals and philosophies of the game, assist in the development, planning and execution of practice, game planning and scouting. Serve as a professional leader and role model to the student athletes within the program.

  • Advise and monitor eligibility and academic progress of student athletes
  • Fundraising activities and camps
  • Assist with team travel 

Required Qualifications:

​Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management or related field

4 years of playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level in the sports of Softball or Baseball. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Sports Management or related field
1-5 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level in the sports of Softball and Baseball
