Building Safety Technician
Job Description
Job Summary:
- Pull and clean strainers on closed loops systemsInstall/Inspect pressure and temperature gauges on closed loop systems
- Install/inspect air/dirt separators on closed loop systems
- Replace pump seals
- Verify and adjust pump alignment to pump motor
- Prepare new and old inventory of equipment and enter data into TMA.
- Assist in setting up Preventive Maintenance schedules in TMA.
- Maintain inventory of Pump seals
- Preform preventative maintenance on pumps
- Clean equipment used and assigned equipment room
- Assist Campus Plumbing department with work orders and back up for staff on leave
- Willingness to obtain an apprentice plumbing license
- Will be on rotating backup shift schedule to cover vacationing staff on the 24 hour crew
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School education or GED with one year related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning machinery and components.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop drawings
