Business Manager
Job Description

Job Summary:

This person works closely with and provide support to the Dean of the College of Business Administration. This position serves as office manager for the CBA Dean's office, which includes overseeing the day-to-day administration and management of the dean's office and being in contact with leaders of the Omaha business community and advisory boards, students, university offices/administrators, faculty, and donors/alumni. This position serves as CBA's Human Resources Manager, handling all CBA personnel operations, as well as working closely with assistant and associate deans in the preparation and development of the college's budgets. This position also serves on the Dean's Executive Council.

Required Qualifications:

Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Experience: At least five years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities in the areas of budget/accounting, business operations or human resources/supervisory areas. Proficiency with SAP or another integrated financial and human resource management system, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Highly effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a team setting.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (accounting, finance, human resources, etc)
  • Experience in a university setting.
