Job Summary:
The Department of Counseling, School Psychology, and Family Science is seeking a Tenure Track Associate/Assistant Professor to teach in a CACREP-accredited clinical mental health counseling master’s degree program. Active engagement in professional and scholarly activities, fulfill service responsibilities to the department, college, university, and professional community, advise and mentor graduate students. Depending on the availability of selected candidate, teaching responsibilites would be begin either Spring Semester 2026 or Fall Semester 2026.
Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate or ABD from a CACREP accredited Ph.D. program in counselor education and supervision, relevant and successful graduate teaching/supervision experience, commitment to diversity and social justice
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in clinical mental health counseling, interest, experience or certification in alcohol and drug counseling, Interest and experience in CACREP accreditation process/program administration, eligible for Nebraska endorsement as Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, experience with on-line course delivery methods, evidence of potential for scholarly accomplishments.
