Building Safety Technician
Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Pull and clean strainers on closed loops systemsInstall/Inspect pressure and temperature gauges on closed loop systems
  • Install/inspect air/dirt separators on closed loop systems
  • Replace pump seals
  • Verify and adjust pump alignment to pump motor
  • Prepare new and old inventory of equipment and enter data into TMA.
  • Assist in setting up Preventive Maintenance schedules in TMA.
  • Maintain inventory of Pump seals
  • Preform preventative maintenance on pumps
  • Clean equipment used and assigned equipment room
  • Assist Campus Plumbing department with work orders and back up for staff on leave
  • Willingness to obtain an apprentice plumbing license
  • Will be on rotating backup shift schedule to cover vacationing staff on the 24 hour crew
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Additional Info

Required Qualifications:

  • High School education or GED with one year related experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning machinery and components.
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop drawings
