Grounds Services Supervisor
Job Description

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Facilities Management and Planning Assistant Director, the Grounds Supervisor is responsible for the cleanliness, appearance and working environment of over 220 acres of campus grounds. This position provides direct supervision of grounds staff, which includes hiring, training, evaluation and retention issues.

Additional Info

Required Qualifications:

  • High School education or GED
  • Minimum of five years' experience in landscape maintenance or commercial landscape
  • Two years' supervisory experience
  • Valid nebraska driver's license (within 6 months of hire)
  • Epa certification-pesticide applicator certification

 

Required Knowlege, Skills, Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of equipment and job functions of a landscaping and grounds operation
  • Good oral, writing and organizational skills
