Job Summary:

The Department of Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is accepting applications for a Lecturer to begin August 2026. The department is looking for a passionate teacher who is committed to undergraduate teaching, community engagement, and meaningful faculty-student interactions. Primary responsibilities include teaching four undergraduate courses per semester and participating in service and recruitment activities in the department and the university.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE accredited institution
  • A minimum of two years post-MSW practice experience
  • Willingness to teach in both in-person and online formats

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience or professional experience relevant to teaching
