Job Summary:
Reporting to the Coordinator for Access Services, the Access Services Associate assists in the daily functions and success of access services. This will include: managing library materials, answering phones, responding to requests for assistance, and logging facilities issues. Supervises student workers, troubleshoots equipment problems, and utilizes library software and systems, as well as Microsoft 365, to perform duties. May be scheduled as the only full-time staff person on duty in the library for portions of scheduled hours.
This position is a second shift position, 1pm-10pm, Sunday-Thursday when classes are in session. When classes are not in session, work schedule is Mon-Fri, 8-5pm. Provides support for maintaining building security and health emergency responses.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; 1 Year of Experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Technology oriented with experience in microsoft applications and troubleshooting equipment issues
- Must learn quickly and retain well
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience in higher education, supervisory experience and/or customer service experience.
Conversational skills in a second language.
