Job Summary:
The Financial Aid Student Service Specialist supports the daily operations of the Office of Financial Aid by providing customer service, processing financial aid and scholarship records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating communications and outreach efforts. This position serves as a primary resource for students, families, campus partners, employers, and external stakeholders regarding financial aid programs, scholarships, student employment, and eligibility requirements.
Success in this role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, professionalism, and a commitment to student-centered service.
Required Qualifications:
High School education or GED and one year of experience with front line customer service
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications, public administration, higher education, or a related field.
One or more years of experience in higher education.
