Job Summary:
The TRIO-Library Services Associate provides data management and reporting for TRIO-SSS (Student Support Services), plus purchasing services for the Calvin T. Ryan Library Collection Services Office.
Under the Director of TRIO Student Support Services, this position will be responsible for entering data in the centralized TRIO-SSS CRM software, collaboration with Loper Succes Hub Data Specialist, processing and tracking program applications, preparing reports for the Director, managing student files, collaborating with TRIO-SSS staff to track grant objectives and offered services, tracking cohort data for the federal annual report, verifying student disabilities with UNK DSS Office, maintaining knowledge of federal grant reporting regulations, and supply ordering.
Under the Collection Services Librarian, this position is responsible for: firm ordering of all monographs and nonbook materials, serving as primary contact for firm order questions; monitoring the expenditures of library firm order funds; and activating the e-resource licenses after acquisition.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and computer skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of Microsoft office products, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Record keeping experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience
Experience with standard office support services, including filing, procurement, budget management, and complex data entry.
- Knowledge of federal TRIO programs
- Database management
- Data reporting
- Familiarity with UNK's undergraduate academic support services is a plus.
