Job Summary:
As an engaged member of the College of Business's enrollment management team, the Assistant Director of Recruitment serves as the primary College of Business contact for prospective undergraduate students and parents. The Assistant Director advises prospective students regarding academic requirements, programs, and policies of the college and the university in person, over the phone, and via email through campus visits, recruitment events, and other recruiting initiatives. This position coordinates the College of Business Student Ambassador program, including recruiting, training, and supervising college students to support recruitment activities, admissions events, campus visit programs, and college tours. The Assistant Director oversees transfer recruitment, including but not limited to: attending office hours and college fairs at community colleges, meeting one-on-one with prospective transfers about transfer credit, and awarding transfer scholarships. This individual is also responsible for assisting cohort programs in developing recruitment strategies, marketing efforts, and reviewing incoming applications. This position may require weekend and evening hours during peak times.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of experience in admissions, recruiting, sales, or closely related setting.
- Will consider a related Master's degree in lieu of the two (2) years of experience.
- Public speaking/presentation skills necessary.
- Must be able to analyze data to inform decision-making
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Master's degree in business, education, counseling, student affairs or related field plus two (2) years of college recruitment and/or admissions experience.
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Experience working with CRM technology preferred.
- Experience recruiting or working with high school or college students helpful.
The ideal Assistant Director of Recruitment will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will have the ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and initiative, and be able to recognize and serve the needs of various student populations.
