Job Summary:
As the Coordinator, Emerging Technologies within NU ITS, this role supports the implementation, coordination, and assessment of emerging technology initiatives across the University of Nebraska system, with an emphasis on those used in teaching and learning. Working closely with the Director of Emerging Technologies, this position plays a critical role in operationalizing pilots, managing logistics, providing faculty and staff support, and ensuring successful adoption of innovative tools and platforms such as artificial intelligence (AI) and other evolving technologies.
This position will uphold the ITS core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive to succeed, a passion for higher learning, and acting with integrity.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3 years experience in learning technologies, change/project management, IT services, or related field
Demonstrated ability to support and train users in new and emerging technologies
Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional coursework, certifications, or microcredentials in IT, project management, AI, or related areas
Experience with AI tools and their applications in education
Experience coordinating technology pilots or change management initiatives in higher education or similarly complex environment
Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools
