
Job Summary:
The Dining Associate performs tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center, such as setting up and closing down stations, cooking, re-stocking, recipe/ingredient preparation, inventory, dish machine operation, and cleaning. In addition, responsibilities include cost and waste control, food presentation, monitoring food quality (temperature, taste, and appearance), training, cash handling, and providing excellent customer service. Operates the computer for some training, email, ESS, and other related tasks.

Required Qualifications:
- High School education or GED plus one year of experience in a work environment.
- Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
- Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary. Ability to communicate essential.
