Job Summary:
The Financial Services Manager leads the Information Technology Services (ITS) financial team in providing comprehensive business support, financial analysis, and accounting services. This role ensures financial transactions are timely, accurate, and compliant with institutional, state, and federal regulations. This role provides financial oversight for ITS operational accounts, technology service operations, and related financial activities. The position is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial oversight for ITS cost objects and accounts, while supervising staff and developing consistent financial processes that support effective ITS operations.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field
5 years progressively responsible experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, or business operations management
Demonstrated leadership experience, including prior supervisory responsibility or significant experience leading projects and coordinating the work of others.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in higher education, government accounting, or large institutional environments.
Experience with enterprise financial systems or business-to-business software and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP and SAP Ariba).
Knowledge of university financial structures, such as state-aided, revolving, auxiliary, grant, or foundation funds.
Prior supervisory experience, including work direction, performance feedback, and staff development.
