Job Summary:
This is a temporary data entry and online customer service position that supports the processing of electronic applications for graduate study at UNL. The responsibilities of this position are essential to maintain the integrity and continuity of key quality control functions related to admissions data. Accurate and timely data entry at the point of application is critical, as it directly impacts identity management, enrollment, student accounts, and university reporting. Ensuring these data points are correctly entered at the start of the student-university relationship is vital to the institution's operational and reporting accuracy.
This temporary appointment is approved for up to two years.
About Us:
The Office of Graduate Studies at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) serves as the central administrative unit for graduate education. It partners with students, faculty, and staff across all academic programs to support success from admission through graduation. As part of the University of Nebraska Graduate College, UNL Graduate Studies operates under system-wide policies. Graduate students are admitted to and earn degrees from the Graduate College, while the UNL office manages admissions, enrollment, academic progress, and degree completion.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in an administrative, clerical, or data entry support. Additional years of relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general computer use and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Effective communication skills.

- Experience with admissions and/or higher education.
