HR Business Analyst
Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is part of the Nebraska Business Information System team (NeBIS) working with team members to support the Human Resources business functionality. This is a hands-on position leveraging business experience and technology to identify improvements for business system efficiencies, while providing HR business community users direction for quality, accurate, and integrated data to meet institutional and governmental compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years years of experience to include: 

  • Experience in Human Resource day-to-day functional business transactions.
  • Proven experience in HR business systems; troubleshooting and resolving issues with the business subject area.


Required Knowlege, Skills, Abilities:

Proficient use of Microsoft office (especially excel) with demonstrated ability to compile data quickly and accurately (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables).

Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication skills.

 

Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years years of experience in HR functional business transactions, troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Experience with SAP

Business experience in Higher Ed or the Public Sector


Preferred Knowlege, Skills, Abilities:

Proven experience of HR data management and creating custom reports.
