HR Generalist
Job Description

Job Summary:

This position provides Benefits and Human Resources project support requiring independent judgment for the Vice President for Business and Finance Office at the University of Nebraska System Office. Responsibilities in summary include, but are not limited to, preparing confidential correspondence and business documentation for university benefits related transactions; creating and submitting human resource, payroll and financial operational forms; and monitoring payroll related information.

Required Qualifications:

Required Education:Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:4 years experience in Human Resource operational support for Benefits, Payroll, or related transactional business processes.

 

Required Knowlege, Skills, Abilities:  Proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

 

Equivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Experience:    SAP enterprise system experience with HR applications

Preferred Knowlege, Skills, Abilities:  An understanding of the organizational structures and business processes across the University of Nebraska.
