Job Summary:
As an Instructional Designer, you will support the mission of the Center for Transformative Teaching (CTT) by providing teaching, course design, and related technology consultations to faculty for in-person, blended, and online learning environments. Your position will require working collaboratively with the other instructional designers on the team to implement CTT priorities, programs, and initiatives. You will have opportunities to implement evidence-based teaching strategies for successful student learning experiences. You will also collaborate with program, college, and other University units on projects that advance teaching innovation and excellence.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum and instruction or related fields and one (1) year of experience in a combination of teaching, instructional design, educational technologies, course development, or related areas.
- Experience working with learning management systems and course design and development.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of learning theories, instructional design pedagogy.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum and instruction or related fields and two (2) years of experience in a combination of teaching, instructional design, educational technologies, course development, or related areas.
- Experience within a post-secondary environment desirable.
- Successful experience with project management, multimedia development, and development in Canvas LMS, helpful.
- Demonstrated knowledge of one or more specialist pedagogies or Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
- Proficient using communication and presentation technologies such as Zoom, PowerPoint, lecture capturing software, etc.
