Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement (SLICE) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator to join the Student Organizations & Leadership team. The Program Coordinator will:
- Assist with the delivery of programs for recognized student organizations (RSOs) such as event planning and registration, annual orientations, and managing events such as Big Red Welcome events, Nvolvement Fairs, or Student Impact Awards.
- Collaborate with a team to provide programming centered around leadership for RSOs and the student body.
- Serve as an advisor of a Student Organization.
- Manage and oversee administrative tasks related to RSOs.
- Conduct assessments related to departmental initiatives.
- Assist in the development and execution of the SLICE strategic plan.
- Collaborate with the campus community and others to offer many programs and services to benefit the student body.

Required Qualifications:
Required Experience:1 year
Type of Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience in program development and/or student leadership.
Equivalency Statement:Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Required Knowlege, Skills, Abilities:
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
- Effective decision-making.
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Type of Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in student personnel, higher education, educational psychology, educational administration, counseling, or related field preferred.
Type of Preferred Experience:
- 1 year full-time experience in a student support role on a campus or with a community-based organization. (Two years of Graduate Assistant experience may be substituted for 1 year of experience)
- Experience working with data management systems.
