Job Summary:

This position will perform general coordination,maintenance and repairs for assigned laboratory equipment and facilities which may include some plumbing, electrical, painting and basic carpentry tasks. This position will maintain Comparative Medicine's inventory system.

Required Qualifications:

• High School education or GED
• 2 years in Maintenance and equipment repair and/or inventory management.
• Valid driver's license

Will consider two years post high school education/experience.

• Required to drive the box truck. Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with diverse personnel inside and outside of Comparative Medicine.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Vocational student in Building Maintenance, Construction, Engineering, or related field and/or inventory management.
• Prefer individual to have 1 year experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment and/or inventory management.
• Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word
