Job Description
Job Summary:
The Security Guard is responsible for the safety and security of visitors, staff, collections, building,
and other assets of the Sheldon Museum of Art. Work as a team with Visitor Experience Associates
to provide an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for personnel, volunteers, interns, and visitors.
Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and maintain an alert attention to
surroundings.

Required Qualifications:
- High School education or GED
- Previous security experience with public contact or customer service experience
- Ability to meet challenges calmly and skillfully
- Possess enthusiastic customer service skills
- Possess excellent communication skills
