
Job Summary:
This position contributes to success of iEXCEL and the Davis Global Center by supporting Senior Leadership with the business, finance and external funding aspects of teaching, research, and business operations. This position works closely with leadership to support the academic, business, and community missions of iEXCEL by assisting with the execution of the business mission while monitoring and achieving maximum efficiencies.Responsibilities include continuously refining an efficient financial infrastructure for costing, invoicing, and revenue generation for each unit within iEXCEL. Business operations duties also include the execution of new and renewals of non-disclosure forms and facility use agreements. Additionally, this position will assist staff with professional travel arrangements.The position will work with the iEXCEL leadership team to contribute to a robust and secure fiscal infrastructure that includes utilizing a data capture system and client resource management (CRM) program that tracks the return on investment in iEXCEL, helping drive the iEXCEL program towards meeting defined measures of success. This position requires a strong business operations background, including a robust technical skillset in order to bridge solutions for each business line through technology solutions.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 5 years in increasingly responsible administrative experience
- Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft PowerPoint,Microsoft Outlook
Will consider seven years related education/experience.
- Accounting, having knowledge of and understanding accounting principles is necessary for business office managers to perform their bookkeeping and banking duties
- Superior organizational, planning, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to quickly learn and comprehend a variety of new topics and concepts
- Able to synthesize and use critical thinking to problem solve
- Willing to take part in the evolution of a new field of practice and contribute to the development of a new “high-profile” entity
- Multi-tasking and ability to maintain high level of customer service especially in high pressure situations
- Functions effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work autonomously, when required, be creative and organized and function under tight timelines using high level of critical-thinking and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management or other applicable major
- Experience developing business plans for new offerings and markets
- Direct experience working closely with senior level management
- Experience negotiating contracts or licensing agreements
- Experience in sales and program management
- Experience with licensing
- Experience interfacing with corporations, voluntary organizations, industry & military
- Ability to develop and run financial models and forecasts
- Experience negotiating contracts or licensing agreements
- SAP, Client Resource Management software
- Demonstrated ability developing channel partner relationships and agreements
- Analytical thinking - reports must be analyzed to help identify any issues that might affect business operations
