
Job Summary:
Provide direct, 1:1, assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention supports (e.g., behavioral therapy services) to children and adolescents diagnosed with severe behavioral disorders. This position will also assist with cleaning, organizing, and preparing case and department materials and systems.
All behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components will occur through the implementation of a treatment plan that is prepared and directed by a BCBA or BCBA-D/Licensed Psychologist.
*This position will regularly encounter potentially moderate- to high-risk care situations that could result in bodily harm to the employee. These situations may include, but are not limited to, providing behavioral therapy in situations where the patients display property destruction, emotional outbursts, verbal insults, and physical aggression. This position will receive specialized behavior management training.

Required Qualifications:
- High School education or GED
- No Experience
- Ability to positively interact with children.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
- Ability to remain calm and patient during challenging situations.
- Must be able to adhere to the principles and mission of the institute.
- Professionally responds to positive and constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, patients, and caregivers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant coursework/specialized training
- Must be able to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days of hire.
