
Job Summary:
Coordinate diabetes and endocrine studies. Recruiting patients and maintaining required consents and documentation. Ensures compliance to protocol and IRB approval and provides light clinical and responsible administrative support at UNMC and VAMC for the clinical research activities of the division of DEM (Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism).

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years clinical experience and/or research experience in a clinical or laboratory setting.
- Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft Outlook.
Will consider six years education and/or related experience combined of which two years must include post high school education
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to accurately follow study protocol guidelines;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Attention to detail in completing paperwork and data entry in a timely fashion;
- Ability to identify potential problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant coursework/specialized training related to healthcare, laboratory and/or clinical research.
- Phlebotomy certification, or willing to obtain.
- Microsoft PowerPoint, SAP
- Electronic Health Records
- Have prior phlebotomy experience or be willing to be trained.
- Have experience in processing blood/serum labs (including shipping), or be willing to be trained.
