
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing high-level patient related customer service in a university/hospital-based, high volume, pediatric/orthodontic dental clinic.
The principle responsibilities of the position include schedule coordination, patient intake and referral coordination, and other administrative duties that affect the day-to-day functions of the clinic.
This position serves as the primary liaison between families, referring sources, and pediatric/orthodontic dental providers.

Required Qualifications:
- High School education or GED.
- 3 years experience in a Dental or Medical office.
Will consider three years related post high school education/experience.
- Demonstrates professional communication skills.
- Skill in typing and usage of computer.
- Strong customer and interpersonal service skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
Ability to be self-organized and handle multiple tasks simultaneously without showing signs of stress. - Ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all age groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a dental assistant
- Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft Outlook
- EagleSoft and Dentrix Dental Software
- Ability to work with uncooperative/unreceptive clients
- Bilingual, Spanish.
- Previous medical/dental reception or public relations experience.
