Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a four year apprentice program or a two year vocational technical program in electronics.
• 3 years responsible experience as an electrician, in a commercial and residential environment.
• Valid State of Nebraska Journeyman’s or Electrical Contractor License.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Knowledge of Motor Control Centers and Variable Speed Drives and ability to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of Automatic Transfer Switches and ability to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of High Voltage Distribution (15 kv and 5 kv ) and ability to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and use of electronic test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Be knowledgeable to troubleshoot and correct any and all fire alarm deficiencies.
• Knowledge of computers and data management software helpful.
