
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing staff and educational operations in the College of Medicine Office of Medical Education, working with senior administration, faculty members, and staff to coordinate the educational process for medical students. Assume responsibilities for the Director of the OME during an extended leave of director and create faculty and course reports for the senior administration and accreditation. Accountable for the complete life cycle of educational activities for the OME pre-clinical medical education programs. Provide expertise to faculty to facilitate the delivery and use of technology related to medical student education in the College of Medicine.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3 years increasing level of responsibilities and organizational experience to include complex program management, knowledge of educational systems, and supervisory experience.
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook.
- OASIS, Canvas, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Photoshop.
- Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and decision making skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be a highly motivated, assertive and productive individual.
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and competing demands using good judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to anticipate potential problems and take preventative measures.
- Ability to coordinate simultaneous activities and follow-up regularly to ensure completion.
- Present a positive professional demeanor at all times to both faculty and staff.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Experience with medical school programs
- Microsoft Access,SAP,Microsoft Outlook
- Office 365, PathXL, EMS
- Course management and scheduling software
