
Job Summary:
This position consists of daily arena upkeep tasks, events, and changeovers. The tasks requirethe ability to lift up to 50lbs and work a varied schedule.
Examples of daily arena duties include: painting, repairing broken items, moving furniture, etc.Examples of event setup include: placing tables and chairs throughout the arena, setting upbarricades, placing signage. This position also works during events to assist with essentialoperations. In this position, we walk on the ice frequently. Examples of changeover dutiesinclude: setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, barricades, staging, lighting,tables and other furnishings and equipment. This position works around light equipment andmachines such as forklifts, lifts, loaders and cleaning equipment as needed.
This position has two pay rates. When working daily arena operations shifts, the rate is$14.50/hour. When working changeover shifts, the rate is $18.00/hour. Opportunity foradvancement to lead roles available, rate ranges from $16.50/hour – $20.00/hour.
Hours are flexible and not guaranteed, shifts are scheduled based on events and buildingneeds.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
Due to the nature of this work, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
