
Job Summary:
Assist lead teachers in the classroom with children ranging in age from 18 months to 12 years. Duties include classroom observation and interaction, assisting with the preparation and cleanup of classroom materials, assistance with toileting, feeding and other general health needs. Required Qualifications:
- Must be least 18 years old or older.
- Must have experience working with children in a group setting.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, get up and down off of the floor frequently, move quickly when needed and assist with walks through campus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work with a team are essential to continuing our record of excellence.
- Must be available for training.
- Consistent hours will be given top priority.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer early education majors, but will also give strong consideration to psychology, social work, music education and physical education majors. We are willing to give consideration to other majors who have experience working with children in a group setting.
