University of Nebraska at Omaha

Program Manager, College Access & Student Engagement
Job Description

Job Summary:

In addition to program development and student support, the Program Manager assumes a leadership role in several cross-campus initiatives that enhance student life and organizational effectiveness. This includes maintaining direct oversight of MavSYNC (UNO's student engagement platform), and guiding policy, compliance, and recognition processes for SLI and its entirety including the over 200 Registered Student Organizations (RSOs).

The Program Manager plays a mission-critical role in advancing the University of Nebraska at Omaha's commitment to college access, student empowerment, leadership development, and academic excellence. This position oversees the strategic coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of key student-facing programs—Summer Scholars and Jumpstart, intensive five-week initiatives for college-bound high school juniors and graduating seniors. Through college-credit coursework, mentorship, and co-curricular engagement, these programs offer transformative early college experiences for future Mavericks.
