Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall coordination of daily operations of the laboratory under the direction of the Principal Investigator. Duties include designing, execution and control of research studies and conducting small animal experiments. Directs junior laboratory personnel, maintains compliance with various regulatory agencies, purchases supplies and reviews expenditures.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years experience in a research laboratory to include bioengineering and animal models, histology/immunology techniques and gene expression analysis by real-time PCR experience.
- Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Word,Microsoft Outlook
- The candidate must be meticulous and highly organized, as they will be required to handle valuable samples and to participate in several overlapping research projects.
- Accurate record keeping is essential. Need to follow outlined procedures consistently.
- Must be reliable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Prior experience working with animals in lab and laboratory supervision.
- Laboratory supervisory experience, experimental design and data analysis experience, manuscript and grant writing
- Microsoft Access,Microsoft PowerPoint
