Residence Life Coordinator
Job Description

Job Summary:

The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) position is a full-time, live-in role that has primary responsibility for managing the daily operations of multiple apartment style residence halls within a residential area. Key functions include student staff selection, training, and supervision, student conduct adjudication, policy enforcement, student leadership development, and community building through programmatic efforts.

The RLC is expected to implement a student development approach and in all aspects of the position be guided by the core values of respect, education, inclusion, care, and service. The RLC will work with and collaborate with the Senior Residence Life Coordinator (SRLC), Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life, Director of Housing & Residence Life, as well as other administrative staff.

Familiarity with staff supervision, student support, student conduct violations, and proficiency in PC-based applications.

Master’s Degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Social Work, Education, or related field
Preferred Experience
Prior housing and resident life experience. Will consider an equivalent combination or education and experience.
