
Job Summary:
A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available in the Department of Psychology at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Brock. We seek a highly motivated scholar to join a dynamic research program focused on the role of couple and family relationships in the development of emotion regulation and psychopathology across the lifespan.
The successful candidate will play a central role in a NICHD-funded project focused on couples with infants and toddlers and will be involved in data collection, data management and analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant writing. They will also provide supervision and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students working in the lab. This position offers training in the implementation of advanced statistical techniques (e.g., longitudinal data analysis; dyadic data analysis; dynamic structural equation modeling; mixture modeling) under the supervision of Dr. Brock who provides course instruction in statistics and routinely serves as a statistical consultant.
This is a full-time, 12-month position with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon performance and funding. Anticipated start date is August 1, 2026 but is flexible depending on availability (could start as early as January 1, 2026).

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Clinical, Developmental, or Social Psychology or a related field.
- A record of scientific productivity as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations.
- Experience conducting psychological research.
- Training in advanced statistics (e.g., structural equation modeling).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience conducting research on developmental psychopathology.
- Experience conducting research on children (especially infants and toddlers).
- Experience conducting research on couple relationships.
- Evidence of publishing research using advanced quantitative methods.
