SAP Application Developer L1/L2
Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing SAP application development for the University of Nebraska and Nebraska State College System and is part of the Nebraska Information System technical team. This position independently performs application development and maintenance activities of moderate complexity. This position applies established development standards to support enterprise systems and collaborates with functional team members to deliver application enhancements.

The NeBIS office and their staff are located in Lincoln, NE.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of relevant application development experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise or business systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to express information (ideas or facts) effectively, considering the audience and nature of the information (example: technical use versus business use, sensitive or controversial information)

 

Equivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP R/3 development tools, ABAP programming, and SAP diagnostic tools
  • Experience with SAPUI5 and Fiori
  • Experience in Higher Ed or the Public Sector
